Room 14 has a SENSATIONAL amount of SCHOOL SPIRIT!

...and the yummy dairy they produce! Here are some facts we learned:

1. Take it easy when you're milking a cow or it will kick you! -Angel

2. Baby cows are called calves. -Ernesto

3. Boy cows are bulls, girl cows are called cows! -Maya

4. Brown cows are called Jersey cows. Their milk has more cream that other cows. -Shayla

5. Black and white cows produce the most milk. -Evess

Today we had a field trip to see the Disneyland Band.

They were great and we learned about lots of different instruments.

There was even a special visitor: Mickey Mouse!

And he gave us all tickets to Disneland!

Here are some facts that Darla and Laisha shared with the class:

1. The ice mummy was found with a tool belt and a grass cape.

2. Scientist found out that the ice mummy died in a fight with another warrior.

3. The ice mummy was over 5,000 years old.

4. King Tut was burred with lots of jewels.

5. King Tut died when he was 18 and he was already married.

6. Archaeologists have not found King Tut's father yet!

They said it couldn't be done in second grade... We proved them wrong!

We did it!

In related news, Gabe is also a champion at Crossy Road. :)
